We have no information about the performance or settings of this TR.

We have already conducted ground potential measurements with two static half-cells at the location shown in yellow in the picture below.



We should carry out a grid survey as per the next picture to see if the groundbed immediate area of influence extends over the railway.



If it does then there will be a current flowing to the rails and then to the closest coating fault at the pipeline/railway crossing.

This will 'short circuit' the CP system and restrict the area of protection.
