Field work relating to cathodic protection groundbeds.

Contact your local pipeline companies and and government regulation authorities and inform them that you will offer them a free status report of the cathodic protection groundbeds that are protecting their pipelines from corrosion.

Obtain maps and drawings and relate these to the Google Maps accurate sat nav coordinates.

Arrange for the local cathodic protection technician or electrical engineer to access each TR to organise switching to enable the ground potential profile survey to establish the remote earth of each system.

Make field notes in your log book and record all measurements on your data logger.

Submit your report to CPN for ratification and we will send a copy to the pipeline company and the local authorities.

Time everything and enter in your log book for accounting purposes when we offer the complete service.

Find out the wages and expenses paid presently to all of the people with whom you are engaging. This training visit is for your benefit but future work must be costed at a very realistic level, we are science based specialists!
